The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point's new Educational Sustainability Doctoral Degree is the first of its kind in the nation. The university says it's the biggest milestone since the School of Education opened in 1894.

“We're looking at the social, economical and political aspects of sustainability,” student Liz Potter-Nelson said. “How do we make systems of education more sustainable?”
