Tuesday May 1 is known as the Day of Giving at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, and there are plenty of ways for you to get involved.
The four ways that UWSP hopes you will participate in the Day of Giving, are by 'Giving, Sharing, Watching and Wearing.
You can give your time to volunteer at a day of service, give food to the Cupboard or volunteer there or give a donation to support students.
Sharing comes in handy for the Day of Giving as well.
You can share posts from many social media sites about the Day of Giving using the simple hashtag, #UWSPGivesBack
Emy J's is participating in the fun as well with helping donate to the Day of Giving Scholarship fund. All you have to do is donate a dollar to the event at Emy J's and you'll help to benefit the school.
