He can hunt professionally, play guitar and record albums. He can write books and compete in marathons. And he knows what it takes to be the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point mascot Stevie Pointer. He might be the most interesting man in Stevens Point. He is Mike Okray.
Okray, 63, was born and raised in Stevens Point, attended Pacelli High School when it was an all-boys school, and earned a degree in business education at Lakeland College in Sheboygan. After that, it’s almost easier to list all the things he hasn’t done, rather than everything he has.
