An evening of international food and entertainment at UW-Stevens Point

Featuring songs, dances, fashion and food from around the world, the 43rd Annual International Dinner and Entertainment will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
With the theme “International Skyline,” the International Club’s event will be held Saturday, April 6, in the Laird Room of the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve St., beginning with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and entertainment performed by international students will begin at 8 p.m. In keeping with the theme, each table is labeled for a famous building, from the Eiffel Tower to the Sydney Opera House.
This year’s menu will include Tom yam (spicy Thai soup) and miso soup; appetizers of egg rolls, vadai (Indian fritters), tortilla Espanola, fish cake and prawn chips; entrees including kapsa (Arabian rice), bimbimbop (Korean rice and vegetable dish), Russian mimosa salad and ratatouille (French stew); and suji halwa (Indian pudding) and Saudi cookies for dessert. Beverages will include Thai tea and a passion fruit drink.
