UW-Stevens Point and Maurice’s Plover collaborate for food drive
The Cupboard, the student food pantry at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, will benefit from a food drive held at Maurice’s in Plover through Sunday, March 17.
To participate, bring three non-expired, nonperishable food items to the clothing store, located at 1782 Plover Road, and receive a 20 percent-off coupon for one item. Participants may earn up to 10 coupons per day (one coupon per three food items donated).
The Cupboard is a student-run food pantry sponsored by the Students Engaging in Rewarding Volunteer Experiences (SERVE), a branch of the Student Involvement and Employment Office at UW-Stevens Point. The Cupboard served 147 clients 398 times last semester alone.
