University Communications and Marketing can help you express the voice and brand of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. We guide students, faculty and staff on connecting with internal and external audiences. Please submit your external communications projects to us and your printing through Printing and Design.

This guide ensures a clear, consistent style in communications and strengthens UW-Stevens Point’s reputation and image. Call us at 715-346-3046 if you have questions about this guide.
 

Events

Keep up to date on what’s planned at UW-Stevens Point with the university calendar. University Communications and Marketing plans university-wide and chancellor-sponsored events such as Convocation and Commencement. If you have a question about such an event, contact University Events Coordinator Jordan Eckendorf at 715-346-3548. 

Media Relations

Let us know if you’re contacted by the media. For stories related to UW-Stevens Point, we offer advice and guidance, and we work with you to develop talking points before you’re interviewed by reporters.  We provide tips and training to help you represent yourself and the university effectively. Also reach out to us if you would like to share news of your university-related accomplishment, a student award or honor, or an upcoming event. We produce UW-Stevens Point media releases and pitch stories to the media.

Photogra​phy/Videography

Faculty and staff may request a photographer by contacting Tom Charlesworth​. Please follow these guidelines for requesting photography. For videography, contact Lee Vaughter.

Templates 


Use these templates when creating official UW-Stevens Point posters and PowerPoint presentations. To strengthen UW-Stevens Point's brand and identity in social media, use the UW-Stevens Point branding bar on accounts or pages that represent an official university program or entity. The branding bar is available by contacting Graphic Designer Meas Vang at 715-346-3611.


Printing and Design

Printing and Design serves UW-Stevens Point faculty, staff and students. Its expanded services include:

     • large poster printing
     • laminating and board mounting
     • spiral and wire-loop book binding
     • shrink wrapping
     • full color pin-on buttons production

Social Media and Websites

University Communications and Marketing produces UW-Stevens Point’s social media guidelines; maintains the university’s official social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTubeInstagram and Snapchat; oversees the university's student blog, and helps the university connect to external audiences through the university’s website.

Vendor List

All UW-Stevens Point products and apparel must be produced by a licensed vendor. The vendors list​ includes all internal use and standard license vendors. Vendors not on this list should not produce UW-Stevens Point products. For information, contact Licensing Coordinator Meas Vang at 715-346-3611.

Tablecloths and Pull-Up Banners

University Communications and Marketing will be making Discover Your Purpose templates for table cloths and pull-up banners in the future. Please contact Meas Vang, Lauren Priest or Brittany Kaminski for templates when you are ready to order new items for your department/unit. Please remember to provide dimensions, so the template can be adjusted to meet your specs.
