​The theatre design and technology program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point offers its students a variety of disciplines and venues. The core requirements of the degree offer a broad range while the elective options permit focused, in-depth training in particular areas.

The department prides itself in striking a balance between academic and production work. Both areas are vitally important. We believe in student learning through active participation in theatrical productions. Design and technical majors typically have a production assignment every semester during their tenure in our department. Beginning responsibilities usually start with smaller shows and/or assistant positions. Summer internships opportunities include:
