See the additional information under WITHDRAWALS below.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">COURSE DROPS<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>The refund schedule below applies to course drops. Keep in mind, however, that any refund or assessment of additional fees will be based on the&nbsp;<strong>net<\/strong>&nbsp;result of the credits you add and\/or drop in relation to the appropriate&nbsp;<strong>refund period<\/strong>. In other words, whether you are entitled to a refund or will be billed for additional fees will depend on the date you drop credits as well as the &#8220;begin and end&#8221; dates of the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WARNING!! Dropping and adding courses may increase your&nbsp;fees.<\/strong>&nbsp; After the 100% refund period,&nbsp;the&nbsp;credits for dropped courses remain in the total number of credits used to calculate your fees. Courses dropped and added after this period&nbsp;<strong>do not offset each other<\/strong>&nbsp;for cost purposes; therefore, your semester cost may increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Special Course fees:<\/strong>&nbsp;Some courses require additional fees to cover the cost of materials and services beyond those usually provided. Contact the Financial Aid and Veteran Services&nbsp;Office for details.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>MEDICAL WITHDRAWAL POLICY<\/em>: A medical withdrawal may be granted in instances where a student is faced with a serious or unexpected condition that completely precludes the student from being able to function as a student and in which the regular university withdrawal process and refund schedule is not appropriate.&nbsp; Students seeking a medical withdrawal should complete a Tuition Appeal (see below) after they have withdrawn from the University.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">TUITION APPEALS<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>Requests for a reduction&nbsp;of all or a portion of tuition charges due to extremely extenuating and unexpected circumstances may be submitted&nbsp;to the Academic and Tuition Appeal Committee through the e-form on the Forms tile in accesSPoint.
