The program provides a supportive community that promotes student success by getting first-year undergraduate students ahead and ready to start their college careers. This community is intended to encourage community engagement and belonging, mentorship, career development, and personal development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each participant will be reviewed for eligibility for our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/student-experience-and-transformation\/trio-student-support-services\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"16\">TRiO Student Support Services program<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Move in early for the 1 week Bridge Program (August 23-28th, 2026).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have the opportunity to apply for one of fifteen $1,000 scholarships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have exclusive access to social and professional development events coordinated by peer mentors, the residence hall team, LEAD program, and SET Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be matched with a peer mentor for your first year for support, resources, and connection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage in the LEAD community experience constructively, contributing to a supportive environment that fosters the success and well-being of all its members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summer Bridge Program Date<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">August 23 \u2013 28, 2026<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tentative Schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Move in day<\/strong> \u2013 August 23, 2026 (LEAD students only early move in)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Program Activities<\/strong> \u2013 August 24 \u2013 27, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trip to Mt.
