UWSP Campus Climate Survey 2015-Full Report

Background
In 2004, 2008, and 2015, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point conducted university-wide surveys in order to assess the diversity climate on our campus.  "Campus climate" is defined as the campus environment as it relates to interpersonal, academic, and professional interactions. Responses from previous UWSP climate surveys have led to increased funding for diversity and inclusion initiatives, including:
  • Hate/Bias Response (Hate Response Team and Online Reporting)
  • Funding for a Case Manager Position
The results of the current survey (link above or click here) provides important information about the campus diversity climate and will help inform University efforts to ensure that the environment is conducive to working and learning for all members of our campus community.

2015 Survey Details
Two surveys were created for the UWSP campus, one for employees and one for students. Each took about 20-30 minutes to complete and were completely confidential. The chancellor granted up to 30 minutes of release time for employees to take the survey, with the request that staff work with their supervisors for office/work coverage if necessary.

Please click here for a listing of survey terms and definitions.

Confidentiality
Responses to this survey are completely confidential. This research was reviewed and approved by our Institutional Review Board.
