Areas of study

The School of Mathematics, Computing, Physics and Astronomy offers the following degrees:

Cybersecurity (master’s)
Data Science (master’s)
Physics-Engineering (dual-degree program)

The school offers minors in mathematics for teacher certification, mathematics for elementary education majors, computer information systems, web development, physics and astronomy. 

Gain experience outside the classroom

The School of Mathematics, Computing, Physics and Astronomy offers a wide variety of activities to help students grow in their personal and professional development. Faculty and staff maintain relationships with a wide variety of local and regional partners to provide students with field-experience courses and internships.

Research opportunities

Students may participate in student-led and faculty-mentored research with the opportunity to present at the annual College of Letters and Science Undergraduate Research Symposium and other venues.
