It\u2019s the only such university program in the world to employ undergraduate students. And, since every schedule is different math students are tasked with real-world problems to solve for clients!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwsp-horizontal-cards gold-square\" id=\"\"><div class=\"site-width\"><section class=\"hcard-container\" aria-label=\"Horizontal Card\"><div class=\"uwsp-horizontal-card-container\" aria-live=\"off\">\n<div class=\"uwsp-horiz-card-block\" id=\"hcard177023055624931\"><div class=\"uwsp-horiz-card-individual split5050 hcard-imgright\"><div class=\"hcard-infocell\"><h5 class=\"hcard-microtitle\">Student-run since 2006<\/h5><h3 class=\"hcard-title\">Interested in Working for the Center? <\/h3><h4 class=\"hcard-subtitle\"><\/h4><div class=\"hcard-content\">Our center offers a unique way for students to use mathematical formulas and problem-solving to create tailored schedules unique to the needs of collegiate teams. We have recently created schedules for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Conference (WIAC), the President\u2019s Athletic Conference, the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference, and the Middle Atlantic, Freedom and Commonwealth Conferences.\n\nPrerequisites for Work in the CAS:\n\nComplete Math 309: Optimization Modeling\nQuestions? Contact Ashley Peper, CAS faculty adviser, at apeper@uwsp.edu.<\/div><div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"hcard-mediacell\"><div class=\"hcard-images hcard-oneimg\"><div class=\"hcard-image\" style=\"background-image:url(https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/school-of-mathematics-computing-physics-and-astronomy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2026\/02\/CAS-web.png)\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"hslider-buttoncontainer\"><button class=\"hsliderBack horizontal-sliderbutton\" aria-label=\"previous slide\">\u276e<\/button><div class=\"single-card-nav\"><\/div><button class=\"hsliderForward horizontal-sliderbutton\" aria-label=\"next slide\">\u276f<\/button><\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Types of Schedules<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Schedules have included constraints on the maximum number of consecutive home and away games, travel restrictions, requested home dates or match-ups, bye specifications, blackout dates, minimum games dates before repeated match-ups, etc. Please submit as much information as possible, with a thorough explanation for your schedule needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion\"><div class=\"accordion\" id=\"\"><div class=\"panelcontainer openfirst\">\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">Time to Completion<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>An electronic copy of each schedule will be sent via email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A rough estimate of the typical time until schedule completion after the initial data is collected is 4-6 weeks. 2-week rush service is available with a 50% surcharge. Any number of complications may arise when constructing the schedule, so we can not provide an exact estimate for any given schedule.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">Fee and Payment<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>The typical schedule will cost $400 but this price may vary based upon the complexity of the schedule requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will receive an electronic invoice via e-mail, and we ask that you include a copy of this invoice with your payments.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">Terms<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point reserves the right to present or publish on all completed work.
