We are excited for students to gain an immersive experience with the launch of the Social Justice in Europe Study Abroad Trip in June 2026.

The program explores ways that social change and justice is activated and sustained across Germany, England, Scotland, and Iceland. Students will participate in intentional conversations on climate change, immigration, and other social issues. Excursions will include visits to the Berlin Wall, Beatles Story Museum, Scottish Highlands, and the Golden Ring of Iceland.

Trip locations and countries were selected based on the unique historical and contemporary positions that each are situated in respect to these topics, offering an opportunity for comparative discussion and reflection for students. During the trip, students will connect with other university students and organizational and community leaders facilitating social change.

As part of the course outcomes, students will engage in an immersive field experience culminating in a reflective assignment shared with our campus partner organizations. Applications for students interested in participating opens this fall. Learn more and apply here.
