Spring Room Changes - spring 2018

IF YOU PLAN TO STAY IN YOUR SAME ROOM NEXT SEMESTER AND KEEP THE SAME MEAL PLAN, THERE IS NOTHING ADDITIONAL YOU NEED TO DO!

Please thoroughly read the information below to understand options available to you and the applicable timeline for each action.

NOT RETURNING TO THE HALLS?

Tuesday, 11/15 (7:30 a.m.) to Thursday, 12/15 (11:59 p.m.)

During the times noted above, use the link to the right and select "terminate contract." Your $125 housing prepayment is refundable only if you terminate on or before December 15 at 11:59 p.m. AND you are eligible to opt out of the housing contract (eligibility information is listed in your housing contract).

All housing contracts are for the entire academic year (fall and spring). You are eligible to terminate your housing contract at the end of fall if you

  • are graduating in December 2017
  • are spending spring 2018 on semester abroad
  • will not be enrolled at UW-Stevens Point for spring 2018
  • are student teaching for spring 2018 outside of the Stevens Point area (appointment letter required)
  • have an internship/externship for spring 2018 that takes you out of the Stevens Point area (appointment letter required)

Suites @ 201 residents seeking to terminate their contract at the end of the fall semester must do so, in writing, in the Residential Living office during regular business hours (M-F, 7:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).

If you are in the traditional halls (all halls except for Hyer Hall and Suites @ 201), your housing contract termination also terminates your meal plan for the spring semester.
