Room Changes - week 7
During the seventh week of each semester, residents may select a different room either within their same hall or a different hall.* Use the link at the bottom of this page to make your change (please note: this application does not work on mobile devices).
New Room, Any Hall: Available Thursday, October 19 7:30 a.m.-11:59 p.m.
There is a price differential for some rooms. Changing to or from a renovated room will result in a prorated charge. For semester costs for all room types, please see our cost schedule.
ALL parties making a room change will receive an email (sent to their UWSP email account) with confirmation about the room change and details on how to complete the move.

Moving to the Suites@201 or Hyer Hall
If you are looking to move to the Suites@201 or Hyer Hall, you must make your change at the Residential Living Office, 601 Division Street Building, during normal business hours (Thursday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).
Residents who wish to "swap" rooms, must do so at the Residential Living Office, 601 Division Street Building, during normal business hours (Thursday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).
Please note: there are few, if any, totally vacant rooms as we begin week 7 room changes. Openings may occur throughout room changes; this is a very fluid process.
Rooms which do not have any residents assigned to them are noted in the room change process with an "*". These rooms are available only to individuals selecting them with a roommate or individuals wishing to purchase them as a single occupancy room.
To select an "empty" room to move into with a roommate, one resident will initiate the change, but will need the other person's UWSP ID number to complete the change (when seeking a totally empty room, look for a room marked with an "*"). Both residents will receive a confirming email with instructions on how to complete the move.
To purchase an "empty" room as a single occupancy room, residents must make this request at the Residential Living Office, 601 Division Street Building, during regular business hours (Thursday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.). Before coming to Residential Living, please be certain you review possible openings online that you may be interested in securing as a single room (these rooms will be marked with an "*"). The resident will be required to sign a single room agreement form that acknowledges the
additional cost for a single room. Rooms bought out as single occupancy rooms are a commitment for the entire academic year - please plan accordingly.
Purchasing Your Half-Vacant Room as a Single Room
Residents in a half-vacant room can "buy out" their room as a single room for the remainder of the school year. There is an
additional cost to this decision. To complete the buy-out process in the Residential Living Office, located in the 601 Division Street Building, during regular business hours. A single room agreement form must be completed that acknowledges the additional cost; rooms bought out as single occupancy rooms are a commitment for the entire academic year - please plan accordingly.
*Suites@201 residents can only make a room change within the Suites@201.
