May Roach Hall
The sciences living-learning community is located in May Roach Hall.
Women and men are housed in a "scattered" room configuration; restroom facilities are available on each floor for men and women (restrooms are single-sexed).
The hall's namesake, May Roach, attended Stevens Point Normal School in 1905 and 1906 and returned in 1914 as a faculty member in the Rural Education Department. She actively supported the formation of campus clubs and became one of the most popular teachers at the school during this time. She also taught English and later helped establish the program in conservation education. She remained on the faculty until her retirement in 1956.
