Baldwin Hall

One of two natural resources living-learning communities is housed in Baldwin Hall. There are quiet communities on its second and third floors (west wings).

Women and men are housed in a "scattered" room configuration; restroom facilities are available on each floor for men and women (restrooms are single-sexed.)

Baldwin Hall underwent phase II renovations in summer 2008.

Built in 1964-65, Baldwin Hall is named after Robert Baldwin who served as president of State Teachers College from 1926-30. Baldwin was excited to join the school at Stevens Point because of its rural education course and committed himself to developing that program fully with an eye to turning the school into a four-year college. He awarded the school's first bachelor's degrees to June 1927 graduates.
