Staying in Stevens Point for summer classes? Need a place to live? Consider staying in the summer hall.
Applications for the summer hall are available online. To apply, please review the summer contract. Then log on to our housing application; please be certain to select "Summer 2018" as the contract option - note that a housing prepayment is not required for summer 2018. Contracts should be submitted at least three (3) business days before you need accommodations. Individuals living in the Suites@201 for fall 2018 and seeking August accommodations should apply not later than May 4, 2018.
The Suites@201 will be deep-cleaned this summer. Cleaning is scheduled for May 19 through June 16. Alternative housing will be provided in May Roach Hall during cleaning weeks. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
All accommodations are provided on a weekly (defined as Sunday to Saturday) basis. Cost for summer housing is $140/week (for weeks in the Suites@201) and $50/week (for weeks in May Roach Hall).
Anyone attending summer school is eligible to live in the summer hall. If you have a fall housing contract, you may also be eligible to live in the hall,
There is no meal plan offered during the summer session, but residents are able to purchase PointCASH through the PointCard Office. Using PointCASH, you are able to utilize a number of dining facilities both on and off campus during these weeks (for specifics, please refer to the PointCard Office website).
Assignment information is mailed approximately two weeks prior to your arrival. Individuals signing up for housing to begin on May 18, 2018 or May 19, 2018, will be notified of their room assignment through their UWSP EMAIL ACCOUNT on Friday, May 18, 2018. Individuals living in the Suites@201 for fall may be assigned elsewhere within the building for summer accommodations starting June 17.
Beginning Saturday, May 19, 5 p.m. - Tuesday, May 29, the university's steam plant will be shut down. This means that there is no hot water during this time. We apologize for this inconvenience.updated 5-9-2018
