Baldwin Hall

  • All genders are housed in a "scattered" room configuration; restroom facilities are available on each floor for men and women (restrooms are single-sexed).

  • Built-in 1964-65, Baldin Hall is named after Robert Baldwin who served as president of State Teachers College from 1926-30. Baldwin was excited to join the school at Stevens Point because of its rural education course and committed himself to developing that program fully with an eye to turning the school into a four-year college. He awarded the school's first bachelor's degrees to June 1927 graduates.
