ARRIVAL SCHEDULE

Students New to UW-Stevens Point
Students who have never attended UW-Stevens Point check in on Thursday, August 29, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. You will receive an appointment window to your UWSP email. We ask that you arrive during that time frame to help us with traffic flow around campus.

Students Returning to UW-Stevens Point
If you have previously attended UW-Stevens Point, check-in is on Sunday, September 1, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. You will receive an appointment window to your UWSP email. We ask that you arrive during that time frame to help us with traffic flow around campus.

You may arrive AFTER your scheduled date, but not before. We will have move-in assistance available on Thursday, August 29 and Sunday, September 1.

EARLY ARRIVAL REQUESTS

Students may request an early arrival through their UWSP Housing Portal starting August 1. Students should only request an early arrival if it is a necessity for them to be on campus prior to their designated move-in date (mentioned above).

If approved, students will incur a $20 per night ($25 per night in the Suites@201) charge until their designated move-in date. That fee will be added to their student bill in early September.

UNLOADING VEHICLES / PARKING

Refer to the move-in parking map for information on unloading zones during scheduled move-in days.

Once your items have been unloaded, move your vehicle to a designated parking lot. Student parking lots are "open" during the weekend before classes. Permits are required during the school year. More parking information is available here (coming soon) .

As you pull up to the curb, one of our staff will mark your windshield with a wipe-off pen so we can contact you if we need your vehicle moved.

Closed drives for move-in day
The circle drives in South DeBot (Baldwin, Hansen, Neale, Steiner), North DeBot (Burroughs, Knutzen, Thomson, Watson) and near the Marshfield Clinic Champions Hall (Neale and Hansen) will be closed during move-in. These drives are reserved for emergency vehicles only.

BRING YOUR GOLD EMERGENCY CARD!

A gold emergency card will be mailed to your home address in mid-August. Please complete the card and bring it with you on check-in day. You won't be able to get your keys without a completed card, so take a few moments and complete it at home. Tip: put it in a backpack, purse or some other easy-to-reach place. Don't pack it in one of your boxes!

REMEMBER THAT DINING SERVICE FOR 2019-20!

Exciting things are happening for this academic year as DeBot Dining Center nears completion of its renovations (scheduled for opening in January 2020). Be sure to read about changes to the dining plan and dining locations.
