David Wang

BIO

One of the best feelings in teaching is to hear when students value what they learned. David Wang said he enjoys connecting with students who were able to use elements of his course work in their later college studies. He teaches Abnormal Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, and Research Methods in Psychology. His research interest is in exploring decision-making in late adulthood.

He is currently studying how numeracy changes during late adulthood, and the effects of such changes on older adults’ decision making qualities. Associate Professor Wang is in the process of developing scales for measuring health numeracy. He encourages students who are interested in gaining research experiences to contact him for research assistant opportunities.
