Research Interests

My research focuses on aging and decision making. Specifically, I conduct research to investigate older adults’ abilities to make decision in both social situations and medical scenarios. Currently, I am studying how numeracy changes during late adulthood, and the effects of such changes on older adults’ decision making qualities. In addition, I am in the process of developing scales for measuring health numeracy. I encourage students who are interested in gaining research experiences to contact me for research assistant opportunities.
