TIMELY WARNING NOTIFICATION

In compliance with the “Timely Notice” provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 UW-Stevens Point University Police are giving notice of incident of Sexual Assault – Fondling in Parking Lot A on the UW-Stevens Point campus.
University Police responded immediately to the report, patrolled the area in search of a suspect, and gathered information from the victim. University Police and the Stevens Point Police Department are investigating.
REPORTED OFFENSE: One report of Sexual Assault-Fondling. At approximately 11:20 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018, a male approached a female student in Parking Lot A and aggressively grabbed her arm and buttocks. The student struck the male with her keys and she left in her car.
SUSPECT: The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’2” tall, with short brown hair in his early 20s. The suspect was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. The suspect may have a cut on his face from being struck by the keys.
