Major, Minor, Undergraduate Certificate

JOIN THE WINNING TEAM

Kicking off fall 2026, UW-Stevens Point will be offering the Midwest’s only sport business major from an AACSB-accredited business school at a public university. As a sport business student, you’ll learn how to provide marketing, analytics, event-promotion and merchandising support to athletes and teams, driving attendance and support and providing the data teams and programs rely on for success.

Why study Sport Business at UW-Stevens Point?

The Sentry School’s sport business major is a 78-credit program with a full 57 credit hours of sport-related classes including  sports marketing, sports finance, data analytics for sports, event promotion, sports sponsorships and more. You’ll be prepped for leadership in a $600 billion industry with more than 100,000 estimated job openings.

In addition to extracurricular activities through Pro Events and the Anderson Center you’ll have the chance to intern with a regional or national sports team, program, facility or business affiliate, learning the ropes and building on what you learn in class.
