Parking is prohibited from using tuition or tax generated revenue.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">HOW CAN I AVOID GETTING PARKING CITATIONS?<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Purchase&nbsp;appropriate parking permit and notify Parking Services by&nbsp; email if you change vehicles<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add enough time to the Passport Parking App&nbsp;to cover all the time you may need<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allow enough time to get to and from class<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow instructions on signs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">I LOCKED MY KEYS IN MY VEHICLE OR MY VEHICLE BROKE DOWN IN ONE OF THE LOTS, WHAT SHOULD I DO? <\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>\u200bCall Parking Services and relay the problem to prevent receiving a citation. The university cannot assist in unlocking your vehicle for liability reasons.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">WHERE DO I REPORT DAMAGE TO MY CAR THAT OCCURRED WHILE PARKED ON CAMPUS?<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>Any damage should be reported to UWSP&nbsp; Police and Security. The university assumes no responsibility for the damage.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">I NOTCIED A PHYSICAL HAZARD IN A PARKING LOT THAT MAY POSE A PROBLEM (GLASS, DAMAGED METERS), WHO SHOULD I CONTACT?<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>\u200bPlease contact Parking Services, 715-346-3900<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">I PARKED AT A METER THAT WAS MALFUNCTIONING, WHAT CAN I DO? <\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>\u200bYou can continue to park at the meter, but you MUST call Parking Services and report the meter number, problem, and your license&nbsp;plate to prevent a citation. An officer will be sent to fix the meter.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">ARE METER AREAS ENFORECED 24-7?<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>\u200bMeters are enforced Monday-Friday 6am-7pm. Meters are open Monday-Friday 7pm-2am and on weekends. Parking is prohibited in metered areas every night, 2am-6am &#8211; no overnight parking allowed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">WHAT IF I BRING A DIFFERENT CAR TO CAMPUS?<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>Your parking permit is a virtual permit&nbsp;that is linked to your vehicle.&nbsp; If you will be bringing a different vehicle OR get new plates&nbsp;you must send an email to <a href=\"mailto:Parking.Services.Office@uwsp.edu\"><strong>Parking.Services.Office@uwsp.edu<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;to provide the alternate plate\/vehicle information prior to bringing different vehicle.&nbsp;&nbsp;The vehicle must be registered to you or a family member.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">I HAVE SEVERAL VEHICLES, DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE A SEPARATE PERMIT FOR EACH?<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>Students can register one&nbsp;vehicle&nbsp;in your parking account upon permit purchase.&nbsp; Once permit is purchased, any vehicles you add are&nbsp;not&nbsp;linked to your permit automatically.&nbsp; You must email Parking.Services.Office@uwsp.edu to alert us to link the vehicle to your permit.&nbsp;&nbsp;Several vehicles can be linked to your permit, but only one vehicle can be on campus at a time.&nbsp; All vehicles linked to permit must be registered to you or a family member.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">I NO LONGER NEED MY PERMIT, WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT?<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>Permits can be cancelled by sending an email to the Parking Services Office for a partial refund throughout the fall semester prior to the start of Sping semester. Refunds are not given during Spring semester or summer.&nbsp;Resale or transfer of your permit is prohibited&nbsp;and you will be responsible for any citations associated with permit.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-create-block-uwsp-accordion-section\"><summary class=\"accordion-heading\">WHERE CAN I PARK WHEN CLASSES\/EXAMS ARE NOT IN SESSION?<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>\u200bAll UWSP parking lots are enforced year round and regulations are in effect.
