All motorists who wish to park vehicles in campus lots must purchase a permit or pay at a meter or pay station. A permit serves as permission to park and does not guarantee a space. Permits are not valid at meters or pay stations without payment. Student permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, until the permit sales maximum is reached.&nbsp;&nbsp;NOTE THAT PERMITS DO SELL OUT PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR, SO DON&#8217;T DELAY YOUR PURCHASE IF YOU NEED ONE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u200b\u200bAnnual Permits (2026-2027) will be&nbsp;made available for purchase on the following schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>July 7&nbsp;at 8 a.m. to Graduates\/Seniors\/Juniors (60+&nbsp;earned credits)&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>July 9&nbsp;at 8 a.m. to Returning Freshmen and&nbsp;Sophomores (30+ earned credits)&nbsp;and<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>July 14\u200b&nbsp;at 8 a.m. to Incoming&nbsp;Freshmen \u200b<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><\/strong>\u200b<strong>PERMITS ARE NOT TRANSFERRABLE. SHARING, GIFTING OR SELLING PERMITS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check the &#8220;Alternatives&#8221; tab to view other options.\u200b<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Permit\u200b\u200bs are sold on a first come first serve basis until sold out.&nbsp; After they are sold out a waitlist is\u200b started.&nbsp; Permits are only sold as &#8220;Annual&#8221; at the beginning of the academic year.&nbsp; If it is not needed for 2nd semester you must request the permit to be cancelled for a partial refund.&nbsp; This must be done by email to Parking.Services.Office@uwsp.edu.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bStudent parking lots are located on the&nbsp;perimeters&nbsp;of campus and may not be as convenient as preferred. The student p\u200b\u200bermit lots are not close to the academic buildings. The largest student lot is located on the East side of campus, while most residence halls&nbsp;are on the West side of campus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students are able to park at&nbsp;<strong>meters<\/strong>&nbsp;on campus or on the streets with proper payment.&nbsp; See meter information under the Visitors tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New\/Incoming&nbsp;students NEED TO WAIT<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>2 business days&nbsp;after\u200b\u200b&nbsp;course&nbsp;enrollment before a Parking Account is established.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Student lots&nbsp;are also&nbsp;open (free) during Spring Break and the days between Christmas and New Years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"uwspbtn uwsp-btn-solid-purple\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/parking-services\/alternatives\/\" target=\"_self\">ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS <i class=\"fa-solid fa-circle-chevron-right\"><\/i><\/a>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"uwspbtn uwsp-btn-solid-purple\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/parking-services\/accessibility\/\" target=\"_self\">ACCESSIBLE PARKING INFORMATION <i class=\"fa-solid fa-circle-chevron-right\"><\/i><\/a>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"uwspbtn uwsp-btn-solid-purple\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/parking-services\/motorcycles-and-mopeds\/\" target=\"_self\">MOTORCYCLES AND MOPEDS <i class=\"fa-solid fa-circle-chevron-right\"><\/i><\/a>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Space for Parking on campus is limited.
