Permits are not valid at meters or pay stations without payment. Student permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, until the permit sales maximum is reached.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200b<br><strong>\u200b<\/strong><strong>Academic Year&nbsp;(2026-2027)&nbsp;permits are&nbsp;available to purchase&nbsp;according to the following schedule:&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>July 7, 2026 AT 8 A.M. &#8211;Graduate Students, Seniors &amp; Juniors (60+ earned credits)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>July 9, 2026  AT 8 A.M.&#8211;Sophomores (30+ earned credits) and Returning Freshmen<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>July 14, 2026 AT 8 A.M.&#8211;Incoming&nbsp;First-Year<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u200bPermits can only be purchased as &#8220;Annual&#8221; at the beginning of the academic year, but can be cancelled for a partial refund at the end of the semester.&nbsp;&nbsp;\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the maximum number have been sold, a waitlist \u200bwill be started.&nbsp; NOTE that permits do sell out prior to the start of the academic year, so don&#8217;t delay your purchase if you need one.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Permits are&nbsp;virtual, so your LICENSE PLATE IS your PERMIT<\/strong>!&nbsp; License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology is used to capture and read a vehicle license plate to confirm that the vehicle is registered and has permission to park in the designated lot on campus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Important:&nbsp; Vehicle license plates must be unobstructed, affixed to the bumper, and displayed in view from the driving lane of a parking space.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to purchasing your permit, be sure your vehicle information is accurate.&nbsp; Students may initially register one vehicle with their permit purchase.&nbsp; Additional vehicles may be added if they belong to family members. Adding vehicles needs to be authorized by\u200b&nbsp;Parking Services. Registration will be confirmed through the DMV to ensure students aren&#8217;t sharing\/selling\/gifting permits.&nbsp;If you wish to&nbsp;change your vehicle, you must request authorization&nbsp;prior&nbsp;to parking on campus.&nbsp; This can be done&nbsp;by&nbsp;emailing&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:parking.services.office@uwsp.edu\">Parking.Services.Office@uwsp.edu<\/a>.\u200b\u200b\u200b&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>PERMITS ARE NOT TRANSFER\u200bABLE TO OTHER STUDENTS (CANNOT BE SHARED WITH,&nbsp;GIVEN TO&nbsp;\u200bOR SOLD TO OTHERS).\u200b\u200b<\/em><\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>2026-2027&nbsp;PERMIT PRICES<\/em>:\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;All Permits are valid&nbsp;through August 31, 2026&nbsp;regardless of purchase date.&nbsp; Note that permits are $300 for Lots&nbsp;JPQ permits or Lot&nbsp;\u200bW permits if purchased prior to November 4.&nbsp; They are pro-rated after that point per the chart below.&nbsp;&nbsp;Permits can only be purchased as &#8220;Annual&#8221; Maria Drive, east of the Waste Education Center\u200b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lot P<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Isadore Street, west of DeBot Center<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lot Q<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Michigan &amp; Illinois Avenue<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RESIDENT STUDENT LOT W&nbsp;<\/strong>permits are available to accommodate Hyer Hall students, or for students who prefer to park on the South side of Campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PERMIT REFUNDS<\/strong>:&nbsp;
