Top of the report<\/strong> \u2013 indicates general information such as name, ID#, the degree you are pursuing, your majors and minors, and your GEP and major\/minor catalog years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Requirements <\/strong>\u2013 the rest of the report tracks your progress toward completing your University Graduation Requirements, your General Education Program (GEP), and your major\/minor requirements. Please note that each requirement will have \u201cSatisfied\u201d or \u201cNot Satisfied\u201d to indicate if a requirement is complete or not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. University Requirements <\/strong>\u2013 University Graduation Requirements are overall minimum university requirements needed to earn a degree. General Education Program (GEP)<\/strong> \u2013 Each level of the GEP lists courses that have satisfied the requirement. Each course line lists the Term, Subject, Catalog Number, Course Title, Grade, Units (Credits) and the Type of Enrollment. Key to Enrollment Types: EN = Enrollment TR = Transfer IP = In-Progress CE = Credit by Exam OT = Other Credit (Military Credit, Retroactive, Prior Learning) Note that exceptions now print after the requirement <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Course History<\/strong> \u2013 The end of the degree progress report includes a complete course history that includes both enrollment and transfer credit. Note that the \u201cY\u201d after TC stands for \u201cYes\u201d that you have declared your intent to teach in the Office of the School of Education. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Legend<\/strong> \u2013 the KEY to the symbols that appear in the report. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Requirements<\/strong> \u2013 the rest of the report tracks your progress toward completing your general degree requirements (GDRs), your major\/minor requirements, and the additional University graduation requirements. A double line separates each requirement. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please note that each requirement will have an \u201cOK\u201d or \u201cNO\u201d in the upper left corner. Each sub-requirement will have a \u201c+\u201d or \u201c-\u201c before the number. These symbols mean the following: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>OK <\/strong>= the requirement is satisfied. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OK IP<\/strong> = the requirement is satisfied if you successfully complete the course that is \u201cIn Progress\u201d. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NO <\/strong>= one or more sub-requirements have not been met. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8211;<\/strong> = that specific sub-requirement has not been satisfied. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>+<\/strong> = that specific sub-requirement has been satisfied. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Course List<\/strong> \u2013 will often appear with instructions to take one or more of the courses to satisfy the requirement. In some instances, the COURSE LIST will include a course number followed by a (R). The (R) means that course is required. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transfer Course<\/strong> \u2013 Che 145, taken at another institution, is equivalent to Chem 105 at UWSP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Major <\/strong>\u2013 is an example of how the major\/minor requirements appear on the report. (NOTE: Consult with your adviser or the Chair of the Department with questions or concerns about the major.) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Elective Credits<\/strong> \u2013 are beyond what are needed to meet the GDR and major\/minor requirements. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Courses Not Applicable<\/strong> \u2013 do not count toward graduation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Converted Courses <\/strong>\u2013 changed in number. The old and new course numbers are shown (e.g., Math 51 is now Math 90). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Additional University Graduation Requirements<\/strong> \u2013 are overall minimum university requirements needed to earn a degree. Some major\/minor requirements are higher than the university minimums. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>30 Credits Earned in Residence<\/strong> \u2013 includes UWSP earned credits only, excluding those earned through experience, credit by exam or advanced placement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>40 Credits of 300\/400 Level Courses<\/strong> \u2013 includes UWSP &amp; transfer earned credits, excluding credits from two-year schools. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>120 Semester Credits<\/strong> \u2013 includes UWSP &amp; transfer earned credits. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2.00 Cumulative GPA<\/strong> \u2013 includes UWSP attempted credits. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2.00 Cumulative GPA<\/strong> \u2013 includes UWSP &amp; transfer attempted credits. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Memos <\/strong>\u2013 summary of reminders and memos authorizing exceptions to requirements. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Summary of Semester Credits\/Grade Point Average<\/strong> \u2013 a term-by-term summary of earned and attempted (GPA) credits, semester and cumulative GPA, and academic status (i.e., honors or probation\/suspension). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Academic Progress<\/strong> \u2013 indicates total credits enrolled for at UWSP or transferred to UWSP and the number and percent of the total successfully completed.
