All events are free and open to the public, but donations are appreciated and help continue these programs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Monday, May 27 \u2013 \u201cOne Sky\u201d <\/strong>\u2013 Learn how different cultures see and interpret the night sky.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wednesday, May 29 \u2013 \u201cBack to the Moon for Good\u201d <\/strong>\u2013 Learn about the past, present and future of moon exploration, narrated by Tim Allen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monday, June 3 \u2013 \u201cSupermassive Black Holes: Uncovering the Invisible\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 &nbsp;Shed light on the physics of black hole formation within galaxy evolution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wednesday, June 5 \u2013 \u201cPhantom of the Universe: The Search for Dark Matter\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 What is dark matter and how are scientists collaborating to find it?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monday, June 10 \u2013 \u201cTwo Small Pieces of Glass: The Amazing Telescope\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Hear about the history of the telescope from Galileo&#8217;s modifications to a child&#8217;s spyglass.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wednesday, June 12 \u2013 \u201cEarth, Sun, and the Moon\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Learn about tides, the phases of the Moon, seasons and see eclipses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monday, June 17 \u2013 \u201cCosmic Castaways\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Discover the lives of the loneliest stars in the universe, deep in the dark voids separated from other galaxies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wednesday, June 19 \u2013 \u201cSunstruck\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Learn about the sun and how it impacts our world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monday, June 24 \u2013 \u201cMaking A Star and Its Entourage\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Trace the evolution of humankind\u2019s long journey to understand the universe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wednesday, June 26 \u2013 \u201cSeeing &#8211; A Photon&#8217;s Journey Across Space, Time and Mind\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson, learn about the journey of a single photon from a distant star to a human retina.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Planetarium seating is first come, first served for up to 55 people. Groups of eight or more may schedule a special showing of any planetarium program by calling 715-346-2208 or completing an <a href=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/physastr\/plan_obs\/Pages\/Group-Programs.aspx\">online request form<\/a>. There is a cost for these requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The planetarium is located on the second floor of the UW-Stevens Point Science Building, 2001 Fourth Ave., Stevens Point. Parking is available in Lot D behind the building and is free in all university lots after 7 p.m. and on weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Arthur J.
