The Women Trailblazers Conference returns to UW-Stevens Point Oct. 22 with the theme “Unmuted: Power, Purpose and Possibility.”

The annual Women Trailblazers Conference at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point invites women and their allies to share experiences and resources with the theme “Unmuted: Power, Purpose and Possibility,” on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

A keynote, trailblazer spotlight, breakout sessions, exhibition fair and networking reception will take place from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve St., Stevens Point. The conference is presented in partnership with the Small Business Development Center of Wisconsin, UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education, Ruth E. Salzmann Center for Women’s Leadership, Sentry School of Business and Economics and its Master of Business Administration program.

This year’s keynote speaker is Amber Cabral, a transformational coach, speaker and culture strategist. Cabral specializes in supporting high-performers and executives as a holistic leadership coach, focused on improving physical, financial and personal development in her clients.

“The Women Trailblazers Conference continues to bring together individuals from all walks of life for a day filled with connection, authenticity and empowerment,” said Cartoon Vue Continuing Education business specialist. “It’s a space where attendees can be vulnerable, share experiences and gain meaningful tools to enhance their everyday life while balancing the many roles they hold. I’m truly looking forward to this year’s conference and being a part of this inspiring journey.”

BoBabes Bubble Team, a female owned Taiwanese tea shop, will kick off the conference with a Trailblazers Spotlight. The panel discussion, “Brewing Culture, Community and Courage”, features UW-Stevens Point alumna and founder, Pei-Ying Wang and her co-founders. The team will share their entrepreneurial story, including how their vision of community shapes everything they do from hiring to hospitality.

“I am beyond excited to be part of another amazing Women Trailblazers Conference this fall at UWSP,” said Deborah Beyer, an assistant professor of finance and director of the Salzmann Center. “For me, attending means stepping into a space where bold ideas, shared experiences and fearless ambition converge. I always appreciate the opportunity this conference offers to network with other inspiring leaders, challenge limitations and find new paths to trailblaze.”
