Cindy McCabe

BIO

Professor Cindy McCabe is assistant dean of the School of Mathematics, Computing, Physics, and Astronomy and past chair. McCabe began teaching on campus in 1998 after earning her Ph.D. at the University of Iowa. View CV. Professor McCabe is faculty advisor of the UWSP Math Club student organization and adviser for undergraduate math majors. She has presented unusual math topics such as graph theory and topology at the UWSP College Days for Kids. She is a past presenter for the Best Practices in Science, Math, and Engineering Teaching Conference for Wisconsin professors, the Mathematical Association of America, Wisconsin section, and MathFest Conference. McCabe received the 2011 UW-Stevens Point Excellence in Teaching Award.

McCabe performs in the Point in Time Early Music Consort.
