Manage Passwords in Windows 7 Professional

These steps are for Windows 7 Professional version only. Do not follow these steps if you are running Windows 7 Home version.

  1. Click Start, Control Panel.

  2. Double-click User Accounts
    Control Panel
  3. Double-click Manage your credentials
    User Accounts
  4. Look under the Windows Credentials and find anything that has
    Credential Manager
  5. Click the down arrow after the Modified date to display more information regarding the saved credentials and click Remove from vault.

  6. You will be asked to verify that you want to remove this set of credentials.  Select Yes.
