Residential Living - Connecting to the Internet

By using the network services provided by UWSP you are bound to the Residential Living Network Connection Terms of Service.

When you're working at UWSP, UWSPWIRELESS and Eduroam provide the same access to all UWSP resources.

When you're away from UWSP, the Eduroam network is still available at participating research and education institutions throughout the world, providing you with secure roaming access to the internet.

Connect Your Computer and Mobile Device to the UWSP Network

Wired: When possible, Information Technology recommends using a wired connection for the network. Connecting to the network is as simple as plugging one end of an ethernet cable (available at most large retail stores or on-line vendors) into the wall jack closest to your window and the other end into your network device. NOTE: Each room has two wall jacks (one near the door and one near the window), but only the jack near the window is active.

Wireless: UWSP provides residents with two wireless network options – UWSPWIRELESS (a.k.a. Eduroam) and UWSPDEVICE:
