Residential Living - Connecting to the Internet

By using the network services provided by UWSP you are bound to the Residential Living Network Connection Service Agreement.

When you're working at UWSP, UWSPWIRELESS and Eduroam provide the same access to all UWSP resources.

When you're away from UWSP, the Eduroam network is still available at participating research and education institutions throughout the world, providing you with secure roaming access to the internet.

Connect Your Computer and Mobile Devices

Wireless: Connect to UWSPWIRELESS or Eduroam. Information Technology provides wireless setup guides and helpful connection tips.

Wired: To connect to the Internet using the wall jack and complimentary ethernet cable provided in your room, plug the network cable into your device and that's it! NOTE: Each room has two wall jacks (one near the door and one near the window), only the jack near the window is active.

Connect a Game Console or Streaming Device Wirelessly

The UWSPDEVICE Wireless Network should be used when wirelessly connecting a game console or streaming device.

UWSPDEVICE requires a password when connecting. Call the Service Desk to receive the connection password.
