Guest Logon Accounts

Guest at UWSP needing general Internet access for their smartphones, tablets or laptops may connect to the guest wireless network.

Guests wishing to log on to a UWSP network computer may request one of the account types listed below.

Please note: Guest accounts are not granted to minors and all UWSP guests accessing the UWSP network have to agree to abide by the UW-System Acceptable Use Policy.  Violators of this policy will be denied continued access to the UWSP network and other computer resources.   
Community Visitor Accounts

Members of the community and UWSP alumni may request a UWSP logon and password that will allow them to log on to designated computers located on the main floor of Albertson Hall for up to 1 hour a day.  These computers provide access to the Internet and library catalogs.        

To request this type of account visit the Service Desk with a current photo ID.

 Affiliated Accounts

University affiliates, such as guest speakers, guest students and staff from other educational institutions may request an account to obtain temporary access to the Internet and UWSP network from a campus computer lab or classroom. 

Guest students enrolled at another institution must provide proof of enrollment, such as a current semester schedule. Guests affiliated with a UWSP department must provide proof of authorization and contact information from the sponsoring department.

To request this type of account visit the Service Desk with a current photo ID and any supporting materials.

Conference Attendee Accounts

Conferences, workshops and other events held at UWSP may request accounts that will allow event attendees to obtain temporary access to UWSP's network & computer resources from a campus computer lab, or classroom.  Certain restrictions may apply depending on the needs for the event.

Printing Options for Visitors

Community Visitors may pay to print from the Library Circulation Desk or Printing and Design (Lower level of the Science building, room D018). Some local businesses provide duplicating and printing services, which can be found in the yellow pages of the Stevens Point telephone directory.
