Eric Roesler

Eric Roesler, Chief Human Resources Officer

Eric oversees and provides strategic direction for HR. He provides strategic planning support to senior leadership. This role is also UW-Stevens Point's Affirmative Action Officer, and ADA Officer - in these roles he manages complaints and the grievance investigation process.

Lisa Schaufenbuel, Associate Director

Lisa is responsible for employee relations and organizational development. She supports guidance on personnel rules, policies, procedures, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Lisa coordinates performance management for non-instructional staff, training and development, career development and provides institutional strategic support.

Lisa is also a trained Title IX Investigator for cases involving faculty and/or staff.

Terri Frank

Terri Frank, HR Compliance Specialist

Terri is responsible for a variety of HR compliance areas. She manage's UWSP's Family Medical Leave and medical leave of absences, as well as accommodations for disabilities. She coordinates most compliance related trainings, including those within LawRoom.

Terri is also a trained Title IX Investigator for cases involving faculty and/or staff.

Tom Bertram, Administrative Human Resources Assistant

Tom is responsible for processing personnel transactions for all employee categories; administrative support for the benefits specialist; providing support for employee contracting, orientation, and onboarding. 

Tom supports all units on campus in the above areas.

Anna Golackson-Timblin, Talent & Acquisition Assistant Director

Anna oversees the recruitment and staffing processes for UWSP Faculty and Staff.

Lisa Nelson, Payroll and Benefits Specialist Advanced & Academic Staff Payroll

Lisa is responsible for administering the payroll and leave accounting for all Faculty, Academic Staff, Limited Employees (FASLI) and Graduate Assistants. She is also the campus contact person for unemployment compensation claims and International Tax compliance (Glacier). Lisa also acts as backup for University Staff Payroll, Student Payroll and Benefits Administration.

Tina Rajski, Benefits Specialist Advanced & University Staff and Temporary Staff Payroll

Tina is responsible for benefits enrollment and questions/guidance, benefits program administration, and retirement planning/process. Tina is also responsible for overseeing the University Staff (including temporary employees) payroll and leave.Tina acts as backup for student and FASLI payroll during peak periods.

Jake Shearier, Payroll and Benefits Specialist Advanced

Jake is responsible for the Student Payroll; collecting, checking and processing student payroll referrals, wage and account changes and student payroll timecards. If you have student payroll questions, he is the person to ask. Jake also updates the student supervisor email distribution list.
