What We Are
UWSP Student Natural Resource Journals is the peer-reviewed
publication for History/Forestry 361 and Natural Resources 323/523.
Each class is focused on extensive literature review of primary and
secondary literature. The resulting papers in many cases collect
information that provides unique insights on history and management.
This publication provides an introduction to the peer-review process
for these students. These papers are extensively edited and reviewed
by two independent reviewers in the respective fields; however, they
are still student papers. We hope you enjoy the UWSP student journal
and thank you for your interest.
Our main areas of publication are under two main categories:
- Native American Forestry Management and/or use from a historic
perspective. This is the publication venue for History/Forestry 361.
- International Resource Management focused on resource topics
and case study review. This is the publication venue for Natural
Resources 323/523.
