UWSP has limited&nbsp;emergency funds available to students who qualify.&nbsp;We care about your financial well-being and want you to maximize any possible benefits available to you.&nbsp;See below for the steps to take in order to possibly receive additional financial assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally,\u00a0if you or your family\u2019s financial situation has changed significantly from what is reflected on your current FAFSA\u00a0(for example, if you\u2019ve lost a job or otherwise experienced a drop in income), you may be eligible to have your financial aid adjusted. If you have not already done so, complete the FAFSA questions as instructed on the application (including the transfer of tax return and income information), submit your FAFSA form, then complete the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/financial-aid-and-veteran-services\/financial-aid-appeal\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"266\">Financial Aid Appeal<\/a>\u00a0form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have not already done so, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to determine if there is financial aid available to help you with your expenses. If you are unable to file the FAFSA, please note that in the emergency grant application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Contact \u200b\u200b<a href=\"mailto:uwsp.emergency.aid@uwsp.edu\">uwsp.emergency.aid@uwsp.edu\u200b<\/a>&nbsp;with any questions related to the emergency grant&nbsp;and\/or apply&nbsp;for the emergency grant&nbsp;using the link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/UCOL\/Pages\/Student-Emergency-Fund.aspx\">Student Emergency Fund\u200b<\/a>&nbsp;&#8211; All campuses<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>S<\/strong><strong>tep 3<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit any additional information requested in order for the emergency grant committee&nbsp;to make a decision. Also be sure to respond to financial aid staff regarding any follow-up information needed, if applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have not already done so, be sure to sign up for direct deposit in your accesSPoint.
