The Work Control Center is the communications hub for Facility Services, handling well over 14,000 requests per fiscal year for maintenance services, custodial services, grounds, and vehicle maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Work Control Center can assist campus with the following: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Efficiently handle of urgent facility work requests<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Answer billing questions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Dispatch appropriate service professional technicians<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Check on the status of work requests<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Route work orders to supervisors and technicians<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022Process work order charges from internal and external service providers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you require immediate assistance or have an emergency, during normal business hours (7:00 am through 10:00 pm M-F), please call the Work Control Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do I know if my work request was received?<\/summary>
\n

Our customers receive a series of email communications. The Email field is a requirement on the Work Request link so we ensure communication with you throughout your Work Request process. From start to finish – we make sure you are aware of what is going on with your Work Request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of an emergency, or if you have additional questions, our Work Control Center is also available to answer questions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n

What services are chargeable to a department?<\/summary>

As a general rule, if the request is for an item\/task not a part of the structure of the building or it is not a part of the routine maintenance, it is chargeable.\u00a0 For more specific inquiries or needs, please contact the\u00a0Facility Services Work Order Control Center.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n
