We will visit the Sun and the eight planets of the Solar System. Program is a live, guided exploration of the Sun and the eight planets of the Solar System. We will describe these amazing worlds and reveal some of their exceptional characteristics all the while exploring the vast scale of the solar system.
Our itinerary will allow us to see our close celestial neighbors in great detail. Explore the Sun, the planets, some interesting moons, and a couple of dwarf planets of the Solar system, led by associate professor Sebastian Zamfir, director of the Blocher Planetarium and Pejsa Observatory. This Junior Scientist show begins at 3:00 p.m. with a book reading in SCI A201. The feature in the Planetarium begins at 3:30 p.m. – recommended age 4+

There is no charge for our public programs, although donations of $1-$2 per attendee will be greatly appreciated to allow us to continue these public programs for our community.
Parking is free on campus for our guests only on Saturdays and Sundays. From Monday-Friday, the UWSP parking lots are enforced 2 am – 7 pm. Please visit this website for more details about parking options, rules, and regulations.
