David Arnold

BIO

David Arnold grew up in California and received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Riverside. Professor Arnold joined the faculty at UW-Stevens Point in 2000. His dissertation is on William Faulkner’s use of elegy, and some of his other interests include American folklore, film and television, and crosspollinations of literature and music. Some of Arnold’s classes created around these themes include: Literary Legacy of World War I, War in Literature and Film, Popular Literature: The Western, War in Literature and Film and William Faulkner and Toni Morrison.
