Food and Finances
The current COVID-19 situation has impacted finances and access to basic needs for many of our students. The Cupboard food pantry for Stevens Point students remains available (online orders only) and we have a list of other food resources for students and families in Stevens Point, Marshfield, and Wausau (call ahead to confirm availability). Our office also manages emergency grant funds through the UWSP CARES Act Emergency Grants and grants specifically for branch campus students (Marshfield/Wausu). If students are home and concerned about food or finances, call the statewide United Way hotline at 211, text your zip code to 898211, or visit 211 Wisconsin online. Students from states other than Wisconsin can Google information about their local United Way 211 service.
