2024 Scholarship Information

Thirty-two (32) $500 Scholarships

Scholarships awarded to students currently matriculated and enrolled on the Stevens Point campus returning for summer/fall 2024

Eligibility Criteria... 

  • Continuing UWSP Undergraduate or Graduate Students (Stevens Point campus only, degree seeking students​​)
  • Any major or concentration can apply
  • Have at least two semesters remaining at UWSP
  • Be registered at least 1/2 time for fall semester, 2024
    • ​Undergraduates: 6-8 credits; Graduate students: 5 credits
  • Registration status: It is OK if you have not registered yet for Fall 2024! We will confirm registration prior to awarding of funds.
  • If awarded, scholarship can be applied to the 2024 summer session or Fall semester of 2024

  • Scholarships typically applied to student's account at the start of term (summer or fall)

Awarded For... 

Outstanding students who contribute to the University environment in one of three ways: 
  • Academic Merit

    • The Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded for the amount of academic field involvement and success a student has shown through areas such as: research, academic student organizations, tutoring, or student teaching. Students considered for this scholarship must have a current cumulative GPA of at least a 3.5. They also must show realistic, clear, and concise educational and/or career plans.​

  • University Service/Involvement

    • The University or Community Service/Involvement Scholarship is awarded for the amount and depth of involvement a student has displayed throughout their college career. This includes activities such as recreation/intramurals, student organizations, athletics, creative and performing arts, and on-campus community service and volunteerism. Students must clearly and concisely communicate the value of their involvement and how it has benefited their time as a student at UWSP.

  • Inclusive Excellence/Diversity Efforts

    • The Inclusive Excellence/Diversity Scholarship is awarded for the amount of effort and time a student has focused on supporting a diverse student body and creating a campus community in which students of all backgrounds are treated equitable and can thrive. Inclusive Excellence/Diversity is appreciated through a broad lens which includes: Race, ethnicity, physical abilities, sexual orientation, gender expression, socioeconomic, background, age, and first-generation status.
