He is a recruiting liaison for the department. Hinaus said student opportunities outside of class include: faulty mentored research, joining the Society of Physics Students or NASA sponsored Rocket Club, presenting at the Blocher Planetarium or Pejsa Observatory, or tutoring for introductory physics students.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Professor Hinaus is state event supervisor of the Wisconsin Science Olympiad and presents at the College Day for Kids.
