Bio<\/h2>\n

Originally from Wausau, Miranda Armstrong earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She returned to Central Wisconsin to complete her master\u2019s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at UWSP. After graduation, she began her clinical career in Wisconsin before working as a travel speech-language pathologist, gaining experience with diverse populations across a variety of settings. She later returned to Stevens Point to continue to work as a speech-language pathologist in various medical settings with adults prior to accepting a position as a clinical assistant professor at UWSP. Her professional interests include brain injuries, cognitive-communication disorders, dysphagia, and voice. She is passionate about lifelong learning and supporting the next generation of clinicians through evidence-based, person-centered practice.<\/p>\n

          I am most proud of the inclusive culture within our department, where there is a genuine commitment to helping everyone grow. The focus is always on supporting one another and creating an environment where there is no judgment, only encouragement and collaboration for the greater good of the team.<\/p>\n
