The UW-Stevens Point Department of Computing and New Media Technologies welcomed Ashley Peper as a faculty member, five years after she graduated from UWSP, in 2020. Peper previously taught at UW-Madison where she earned her doctorate in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Her primary area of interest is in operations research. Coming full circle, Peper will oversee the student-run Center for Athletic Scheduling (CAS) where students problem solve and design custom schedules for collegiate teams.
