“HI, I’m Brody- I grew up in Owatonna, MN<\/span> and <\/span>ended up here in Stevens Point for <\/span>my <\/span>undergrad<\/span>. Ever since my first day<\/span>, I have fallen in love with the university and the community <\/span>of <\/span>Stevens Point. <\/span>I graduated in <\/span>May of<\/span> 202<\/span>4 as a finance major <\/span>from <\/span>the Sentry School of Business and Economics<\/span>. <\/span>As an undergraduate student, I was heavily involved<\/span> as a Campus Ambassador for <\/span>the Office of Admissions and Recruitment<\/span>, as well as being involved in the Student Government Association and Phi Sigma Phi <\/span>N<\/span>ational Fraternity.<\/span> I <\/span>enjoy being outdoors and love both golf and hockey. “<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fun Fact:\u00a0<\/span><\/b> My 2<\/span>nd<\/span>-Great-Grandfather, George Stien, worked for UWSP back in the early 1900\u2019s and the building with the smokestack on the north part of campus (the George Stien Building) is named after him.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>Piece of advice: <\/span><\/b>Life is like driving in the Midwest. Sometimes it is smooth sailing and everything is beautiful, and sometimes, there are potholes everywhere or random road construction. Whatever the drive is, just keep moving forward and remember sometimes it\u2019s good to stop, slow down, or find a different direction to go in.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>What he wanted to be growing up:<\/span><\/b> Growing up I wanted to either be an architect, lawyer, or a CEO\/CFO. <\/span>
\nWhat he enjoys about UWSP:<\/span><\/b> Hands down, the people. From everyone I met while I was a student, to now being a professional staff member, my favorite thing about UWSP is the huge sense of community that I feel every day. <\/span>
\nFavorite place on campus and why: <\/span><\/b>My favorite place would be any sort of green space on campus. Whether that\u2019s Schmeekle Reserve, the tropical Conservatory, or just a random bench on campus, I love being outside and enjoying the fresh air.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
