Favorite roles include Miss Hannigan in Charles Strouse\u2019s Annie<\/em>, Franca\u00a0<\/span>Naccarelli<\/span>\u00a0in Adam\u00a0<\/span>Guettel\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Light in the Piazza<\/em>, Michaela in the Brooks-Bizet\u00a0<\/span>The<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Tragedy of Carmen<\/em>, Antonia in Offenbach\u2019s The Tales of Hoffman<\/em>, and Countess Almaviva in Mozart\u2019s The Marriage of Figaro<\/em>.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>Sonia <\/span>regularly<\/span>\u00a0performs with the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra as a soloist and as a co-host of the annual Dorothy Vetter Educational Concerts.\u202f She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and received the Mary Wolfman award as a semifinalist in the 2024 NATS Artist Awards in New York.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>Sonia<\/span>\u202f<\/span>holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from UW-Stevens Point.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
