Sanjay Moorjani holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College, an M.S. in Quantitative Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, and a B.Tech. from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy. His research focuses on identifying the role of technological change in driving business cycles and wealth inequality.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

I enjoy seeing students have that “light bulb” moment when they realize how economic theory can inform their decision-making and that mathematics is not merely a set of calculations, but a language for expressing complex ideas precisely.
