  • Graduated top of class and awarded the title “Distinguished Honor Graduate” from the Army’s Master Leader Course
  • Sergeant of the Year runner-up in 2011 for the Wisconsin Guard State competition
  • Successfully completed the Army Air Assault School, Rappel Master Course, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Master Resiliency Trainer Course and Modern Army Combatives Course Level II

I am proud that our school boasts some of the top-performing cadets in the state of Wisconsin.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

I enjoy the satisfaction of seeing students grow and mature in their display of readiness to eventually replace my peers and I in our roles.

A piece of advice for students in your school?

Don’t be afraid to try new things, listen to other viewpoints, and reflect on your personal bias. There are hundreds of opportunities available on campus and in the community to enhance your education and relieve financial burden—you just have to be open to new ideas.
