Mai Lee Kha

My name is Mai Lee Kha (pronounced like smiley but no s) and I’m from Wausau, WI. I’m a proud first-generation college graduate, and I have a passion for igniting inspiration. I have two, joyful little ones, and a supportive husband. Food is my love language, board games are my favorite, and The Hobbit is better than Lord of the Rings.

Piece of advice: “You can always come back to it.”
What she wanted to be growing up: Growing up, I wanted to be an actress and singer.
What she enjoys about UWSP: I enjoy the community the most at UWSP. When I first arrived here and was waiting for a friend outside an academic building, someone kindly asked if I needed help because I looked lost. I was in fact lost, hence why I was waiting for this friend. However, this stranger showed me a glimpse of the culture of kindness here at UWSP.
Favorite place on campus and why: The Welcome Center by the fireplace.

If you would like to meet with Mai Lee, schedule a meeting.
