Justin Rosinski

Bio

Justin Rosinski, PT, DPT, OCS, is a clinical assistant professor and Physical Therapy Residency Board member at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Within the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, he teaches courses in anatomy, musculoskeletal physical therapy, pain science and clinical reasoning.

As an ABPTS Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), Justin’s clinical experience is rooted primarily in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine settings, spanning private practice and multidisciplinary healthcare environments. While he values all aspects of physical therapy, his passion for education ultimately led him to pursue opportunities to teach, mentor and support students throughout his career.

Prior to joining UWSP full-time, Justin worked as a traveling physical therapist across the United States. These experiences provided exposure to diverse patient populations, healthcare systems, practice philosophies and cultures, helping shape his adaptable and patient-centered approach to both clinical practice and education. After completing his travels, he and his family settled in Central Wisconsin, where he became involved with the UWSP Doctor of Physical Therapy program as an adjunct faculty member before transitioning into his current full-time role.

Known for his tall stature and big enthusiastic personality, he strives to create a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to grow through curiosity, effort and reflection. He believes that meaningful development comes from embracing the learning process and values dedication, persistence and continuous improvement as much as the final outcome.

Fun Facts

Best advice you ever received?

You will make 1,000 little mistakes a day, so fail fearlessly because we can always learn from our mistakes.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

If physical therapy hadn’t worked out, you’d probably find me on a farm. I’ve always been drawn to the problem-solving and creativity that farmers use every day. Caring for animals would be a bonus, but let’s be honest, a big part of the appeal is that I never really outgrew my fascination with tractors and heavy machinery.

A piece of advice for students in your school?

Meaningful development comes from embracing the learning process and value dedication, persistence and continuous improvement just as much as the final outcome.
